Part of Hebron Europe
Welcome to Europeans United in Prayer!
We are a movement of European praying people and intercessors who have a heart to pray for our continent and its peoples. We pray for God’s plans to glorify His Son Jesus among us in Europe.
We meet together face-to-face about twice a year in a different European country, in addition to online gatherings. In our gatherings, we pray together as Europeans:
- over issues which concern Europe as a whole
- for the country in which we are meeting
- for the Jewish people and for Israel.
So far, we have met in all 27 countries of the European Union and several of the non-EU countries of Europe: over 30 countries and still counting!
If you are interesting in praying at a European-level for our continent, we would love to hear from you!
Our Meetings
We believe it is important to go and place our feet on the ground of a country and pray, rather than only praying from a distance. Then we are able to connect with the Christians there, learn about their nation and its needs and pray together for those in authority. The local believers then also join us in bringing current Europe-wide issues before God.
Our Meetings are made up of:
Personal sharing time – catching up with each other’s lives and praying together
Learning about our host country – hearing about our host country’s history and culture, then praying for the nation, its leaders and the church. We also listen to the prophetic voice and love it when God leads us specifically to pray things that are deep, healing or enabling for the country.
Prayer walks – prayer walking around strategic points in the capital city and praying for different aspects of the nation’s life, e.g. government, church, education, Jewish community, or problem
areas. If possible, we do this together with local intercessors
Information from the nations – learning what is happening in different countries – elections, forthcoming legislation, cultural changes, the state of the church etc
Addressing Europe-wide issues – We aim to bring up-to-date, accurate information on issues which affect all our countries to a greater or lesser extent and then to pray into those issues. These can include topics such as migration; war, terrorism and security; political trends; revival and God’s
church; and family issues
A time for Israel – as Christians we are grafted into the Hebrew root and our continent has a Judaeo- Christian Heritage. So we always pray for Israel and bless the Jewish people.
